FACE PAINTING
RATES: As a full time, fully insured professional, my hourly rate ranges from $160 to $200 Per Hour, depending on the time booked, the kind of event, distance/location and whether I am in costume.
FACES PER HOUR/SPEED: For parties and smaller events I bring a chart with over 50 design options to chose from! I can paint about 10-12 full face designs an hour, which breaks down to 4-5 minutes a person (this includes the time getting the child in and out of the chair.) When estimating how long you should book, keep in mind some families bring siblings to parties, so don’t be surprised if you are expecting 15 kids and 20 show up!
For larger public or school events I offer a small/quick design chart to keep the lines moving quickly. For my ‘speed painting’ I can paint 20-30 faces per hour. A higher hourly rate is charged for this option.
ABOUT THE PAINTS: Safety and quality is the utmost priority when working on little faces. I mainly use Paradise face paints by Mehron, which has been a professional theatrical makeup company since 1927 and still leads the market for the best quality and safest face paints on the market. Most of the major brands of face paints use some sort of preservative system to keep bacteria from growing in the products. Please note: face painting is not recommended for children under the age of 3 as they don't have the immune system for it.

Looking for something fun for older kids? Ask about UV/Glow face painting! Great for the Halloween season, evening parties and club events as well. This UV face paint is water based and glows brightly under a UV/blacklight.
